ELECTRICAL SAFETY REPORT (EICR)

The current UK wiring regulations recommend regular safety inspection reports for all types of electrical installations.
For domestic homes, this should be every 5 years.
Doing this helps prevent fires that could devastate your home or business premises, or hidden faults that could result in electrical shock.
Why not let me come and inspect the electrics in your property and issue a full, detailed report (known as an EICR, or Electrical Installation Condition Report) and know for sure that your wiring is in a satisfactory condition.

UPGRADING
Modern homes deserve modern electrics
Since 2016, the wiring regulations in the UK require all new consumer units in dwellings to be made from non-combustible materials, ie metal. This is to provide enhanced fire protection in the event of a fault that starts inside the consumer unit.
It makes sense to upgrade your old fuse box or consumer unit if it does not meet this important new standard.
